YouTube Link for 'Stories of Inspiration from Western Australian Carers'

In 2007-2008 Ishar Multicultural Women's Health Centre embarked on a special project for CaLD Carers funded by Carers WA. To give a voice to CaLD Carers and highlight what they encounter in a caring role, four Carers from Thailand, Ireland, El-Salvador and Iran were invited to share their stories of love, hope, faith and resilience. The project incorporated a narrative approach which gave the Carers an opportunity to identify their strengths and resources, and reinforce their resilience. Their powerful stories of inspiration were eventually recorded on a DVD.

We now have some of these stories available on youtube and the links can be accessed on the 'Resource' section of this website under 'Videos'.
