We provide free, confidential support for women experiencing family and domestic violence.

How We can help you

Our individual advocacy services can help with:

  • Violence restraining orders

  • Individual support and advocacy by dedicated Social Worker to assist with Centrelink, housing, visas and obtaining Family Violence Restraining Orders

  • Legal Support in partnership with. Encompass Legal and Community Services

  • Counselling services

All services are free. Self-referrals are accepted.

Accessing Support Services - A Safe Haven

Navigating the complexities of FDV can be overwhelming, but our program ensures that no one faces it alone. Participants learn how to access essential FDV support services, including those dedicated to helping them leave an abusive relationship or obtain a Family Violence Restraining Order (FVRO) against their partner.

Our FDV services are available in Ellenbrook, Northbridge, Gosnells and Willeton (for ISWA clients only).

Ishar is a partner in two Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) Hubs in Perth. The hubs provide women experiencing or at risk of FDV with access to a range of support services.

Mirrabooka

The Naala Djookan Healing Centre

Located in Mirrabooka, the Naala Djookan Healing Centre brings together a range of Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) support services in one location.

The Naala Djookan Healing Centre was established through a consortium comprising:

  • City of Stirling (lead agency)

Waullo Dawn Healing Service

The South East Health Service brings together mental health, health, and social support services in one location, making it easier for clients to access the support they need.

The Armadale FDV Hub is being established by the collaboration of esteemed agencies, including:
