Balance the Scales: Creating a Fair and Inclusive Justice System for Women and Girls
Join Ishar in celebrating International Women's Day 2026. This year's theme, Balance the Scales, calls for creating a fair and inclusive justice system for women and girls. The theme draws attention to ongoing barriers to justice, including low conviction rates in sexual assault cases and systemic discrimination, while advocating for transforming justice systems and amplifying marginalised voices to make equality the standard rather than the exception.
